I take on a limited number of newborn sessions each month to ensure a calm, personalized experience.

FAQ

When is the best time to do a newborn session?

Newborn Sessions are best when your infant is within the first 7 to 21 days of birth. The first three weeks are ideal as newborns are comfortable in the fetal position and often sleepy.

If we are going to be in the pictures, what should we wear?

Neutral colors like beige, grey, or light tones work great for Newborn Sessions. I find it's best to avoid black and bold colors. No need to dress up, dress comfortable and like yourself.

Where do Newborn Sessions take place?

We offer newborn sessions in studio and at home.

At the moment, I don’t have a permanent studio, so I work in a few trusted rental studios in the area. If you’d like a studio session, there’s an additional studio rental fee to cover the space.

We also offer lifestyle newborn/family sessions at the privacy of your own home.

I have a collection of props, headbands and outfits that are available for all clients.

How long will my session be?

Newborn sessions usually take about 1-2 hours.

What is the turnaround time?

Your high-resolution images will be sent to you in a private online gallery 2-3 weeks after your session. Faster turnaround time is available for an extra fee.

What if sickness causes us to reschedule?

If you or a family member are sick, we can absolutely reschedule.

I’m a photographer and a mother, originally from Eastern Europe. I spent 11 years living in Los Angeles before moving to Maine in 2021, where I fell in love with the slower pace, soft coastal light, and quiet, meaningful moments that inspire my work today.

I’ve been working with families since 2010, and I understand how tender and emotional those early days can be. My approach is calm, gentle, and supportive—I’ll guide you through everything so your session feels easy and natural.

You don’t need to prepare or be perfect. I’m there to create a relaxed space where you can simply be with your baby.
